This walkthrough shows the connection from Claude to an authorized MosoFin workspace. The user chooses the workspace and question; MosoFin retrieves the permitted financial data without changing the source books.
How to Connect MosoFin to Claude

Claude is the conversation. MosoFin supplies the authorized financial context.
After the connection is added, the user selects the MosoFin workspace relevant to the question. MosoFin reads the authorized QuickBooks data for that workspace and returns the result to Claude with the workspace boundary intact.
What happens in the video

- Open connector settings.
The walkthrough starts in Claude and opens the area used to add an external connection.
- Choose MosoFin.
MosoFin is selected as the financial data connection for the conversation.
- Sign in and authorize access.
The user signs in to MosoFin and keeps the connection limited to the workspaces and sources they are allowed to review.
- Ask a financial question.
Claude answers with current data from the selected workspace while MosoFin remains read-only.
Connecting MosoFin does not give Claude write access to QuickBooks.
MosoFin has no tools that post entries, reconcile accounts, send invoices, pay bills, or delete records. Each request remains limited to the workspace and source permissions available to the signed-in user.
