Save a financial review workflow. Run it again with current data.
A MosoFin Saved Skill keeps the reviewed method and output structure for a financial task. When you run it again, MosoFin applies the same workspace permissions and retrieves current authorized data for a new response in Claude.
How to Save and Reuse a Financial Review Workflow
This demonstration is silent. The complete visual transcript appears below.
Keep the method. Refresh the numbers.
The demonstration starts with an illustrative P&L variance review. Claude retrieves two periods, calculates the movement, identifies the largest drivers, and prepares a summary. Once the reviewer is satisfied with that process, the steps are saved as a reusable instruction. The next run follows the same method against a newly selected period and current authorized workspace data.
What happens in the video
The interface and financial values shown are illustrative. The sequence demonstrates the workflow, not a real company result.
A reviewer asks Claude to compare March and February profit and loss, rank the largest variances, trace the main drivers, and prepare a client-ready summary.
After the reviewer accepts the method, the five-step process and output format are packaged as a Saved Skill named investigate-pl-variance.
The new Saved Skill appears in the MosoFin Skills Manager, where it can be viewed, enabled, or managed with the other saved workflows.
The reviewer asks to run the same Saved Skill for April. The method repeats with a new period and current authorized data, producing a fresh variance review for human review.
Make the review specific enough to repeat.
Set the accounting basis, comparison period, workspace scope, materiality threshold, source checks, and output format before saving the workflow. A vague instruction produces a vague rerun.
Compare March with February profit and loss for this authorized workspace. Rank the largest variances, trace the main drivers to the supporting records, and draft a client-ready summary. Do not change QuickBooks.
A Saved Skill does not carry new access with it.
Every run remains limited to the workspaces and data sources the user is authorized to select. Saving the method does not combine separate client books, approve the accounting conclusion, or give MosoFin write access to QuickBooks.
Saved Skill questions
What does a MosoFin Saved Skill keep?
It keeps the reviewed instructions, sequence, and output structure for a workflow. The next run uses current data from the workspace or workspaces you are authorized to select.
Does a Saved Skill grant access to more financial data?
No. Saving a workflow does not add permissions or expand the data MosoFin can read. Workspace selection and source permissions still apply every time it runs.
Can a Saved Skill change QuickBooks?
No. MosoFin uses read-only QuickBooks access and has no tools that post entries, send invoices, pay bills, reconcile accounts, or otherwise change the books.
Build one reviewed process, then reuse it.
Create a workspace, connect an authorized QuickBooks entity, work through a financial question in Claude, and save the method once the result is ready to repeat.
