The operating problem

A client review should be consistent without becoming generic.

A firm needs a dependable way to check the right numbers across a portfolio, while preserving the client's own data boundary, context, and professional judgment.

Every client has a different data boundary

Client work should stay organized in its own workspace with separate permissions and activity history, rather than being mixed into a shared spreadsheet.

The questions repeat but the answer changes

The monthly review structure can be consistent even as each client’s current cash, expenses, invoices, and exceptions change.

A financial answer still needs a reviewer

A draft explanation can save time, but the professional must validate the scope, source records, accounting treatment, and client-facing conclusion.

A source-conscious workflow

Turn a recurring client review into a reusable method.

The goal is not to generate another generic report. It is to make the review process clear enough to repeat, inspect, and adapt for the client in front of you.

  1. Create a workspace for the client or client group

Connect the authorized data sources available to the client and keep that client’s permissions and activity history distinct from other work.

  2. Describe the review outcome

Specify the reporting period, source coverage, comparison, and decision the review should support—for example, unusual expenses or overdue receivables.

  3. Check the source-backed answer

Use the result to inspect the relevant records, confirm exceptions, and separate facts from assumptions before communicating anything externally.

  4. Save the approved pattern as a Saved Skill

Preserve the proven structure for next month. The saved workflow guides the request but does not change access or make decisions for the firm.

  • You want to reuse a well-defined finance-review method inside Claude with current connected data.
Choose another system when you need
  • White-labeled report packs, dashboards, client portals, and three-way forecast delivery.
  • Firm-wide collaboration and shared membership features that are not yet released by MosoFin.

FAQ

Questions, answered directly.

Can an accounting professional use MosoFin for more than one client?

Yes. Create unlimited permission-scoped workspaces for clients or client groups. Each workspace maintains its own permissions and activity history, and you select the authorized workspace or workspaces for each question.

What can a repeatable financial review cover?

A reusable review can cover questions about profit, cash, revenue, expenses, invoices, bills, receivables, payables, and changes between reporting periods. The reviewer remains responsible for accounting judgment and the final client communication.

Does a Saved Skill give new access to client data?

No. A Saved Skill preserves the review method. It does not grant new permissions or expand the data MosoFin can read.

Does MosoFin only work with QuickBooks?

QuickBooks is the current live source. MosoFin is designed to expand to commerce, payment, and CRM data sources; Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Square, and CRM connections are planned, not live.
