Multiple companies should not mean more spreadsheet stitching.
When each entity has separate books, the hard part is often not pulling another report. It is keeping the question, selected data, supporting records, and explanation together.
The answer spans more than one company
A question about cash, expenses, or performance often requires the right entities to be selected deliberately, not a copied-and-pasted report.
A combined number needs context
A useful comparison should retain the source period, accounting basis, coverage, and entity context rather than flattening everything into one unexplained total.
The same review returns every month
If a review is useful once, its method should be reusable with current data instead of rebuilt from scratch for every reporting period.
A clear workflow for multi-entity financial analysis.
MosoFin keeps the review focused on the question you need to answer, while preserving the boundary between analysis and accounting judgment.
-
Organize the authorized data
Create a workspace for a related entity group or keep a separate workspace where the company needs its own permissions and activity history.
-
Select the scope for this question
Choose the authorized workspace or workspaces relevant to the review. MosoFin only reads the connected records in that selected scope.
-
Ask for the comparison in plain language
State the reporting period, accounting basis, entities included, and the decision or explanation you need.
-
Review the support and save the method
Inspect the numbers and source records before using the answer. Save an approved review pattern as a Saved Skill when it should repeat.

Questions, answered directly.
Can MosoFin analyze more than one company?
Yes. You can connect up to five authorized QuickBooks entities within a workspace, or explicitly select two or more authorized workspaces for a cross-workspace analysis. The answer only uses the workspaces you select.
Is multi-entity analysis the same as financial consolidation?
No. MosoFin supports source-connected questions and comparisons across selected workspaces. It does not currently provide a released consolidation workflow with eliminations, currency translation, or formal reconciliation controls.
Which business data sources are available?
QuickBooks is the current live data source. Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Square, and CRM connections are planned and must not be treated as available until each connection is released and verified.
Keep the data scoped. Make the review repeatable.
