Claude requests QuickBooks data allowed by the selected MosoFin workspace. Claude carries the conversation; MosoFin controls workspace access.
What QuickBooks data can MosoFin retrieve?
Bea retrieves only the QuickBooks data permitted for the selected workspace or workspaces through read-only tools. The available data can include financial statements, chart-of-accounts data, invoices, bills, and journal entries, subject to the workspace permissions.
Does the MCP connection give Claude write access to QuickBooks?
No. MosoFin’s QuickBooks tools are read-only. They do not create, update, delete, post, send, pay, or otherwise change QuickBooks records.
