For teams that need answers, not another report tab

Review QuickBooks data in Claude with a question you can follow through.

Use MosoFin to ask about profit, expenses, cash flow, invoices, bills, or a change from one period to the next. Bea retrieves only the authorized QuickBooks data in your selected workspace, and you review the answer before acting.

The operating problem

A static report rarely ends the conversation.

Month-end questions usually arrive with context: What changed? Which expenses moved? Is this cash pattern expected? Opening a report is only the first step; explaining it is the real work.

The question is more specific than a standard report

You may need a period comparison, a category breakdown, or the records behind a change—not just a fixed report layout.

Follow-ups rebuild the work

A spreadsheet or exported PDF does not preserve the question. Each new angle can mean navigating back through report settings and filters.

Recurring review needs a consistent method

The review should be repeatable, but it should still use the current period and stay within the data permissions you selected.

A source-conscious workflow

A read-only QuickBooks reporting workflow in Claude.

MosoFin keeps the scope clear: choose the authorized workspace, name the period and question, then inspect the answer and its support.

  1. Connect the authorized QuickBooks entity

Connect QuickBooks to the relevant MosoFin workspace. Each workspace has its own permissions and activity history.

  2. Set the reporting scope

State the period, accounting basis, comparison, and the financial question you need answered.

  3. Ask and follow up in Claude

Bea retrieves permitted QuickBooks data read-only. Continue the conversation when you need a different cut or explanation.

  4. Review, then reuse the method

Check the answer against the support before using it. Save an approved instruction as a Saved Skill for the next review.

FAQ

Questions, answered directly.

Is MosoFin a QuickBooks reporting tool?

MosoFin is a read-only financial data workspace used in Claude. With the current QuickBooks connection, it helps you ask questions about authorized QuickBooks data and review the answer in the conversation. It is not a polished dashboard, scheduled report delivery system, or accounting system of record.

Can MosoFin create or change a QuickBooks report?

No. MosoFin reads permitted QuickBooks data on demand. Its tools do not create, update, delete, post, send, pay, or otherwise change records in QuickBooks.

Can I repeat the same reporting question every month?

Yes. After a review method is useful, save the instruction as a Saved Skill. It guides the same kind of request with current authorized data; it does not add permissions or make changes to the books.
